Reserve your room with one weeks rent and start the referencing process. This payment will become your first weeks rent once you either pass referencing or should you not pass referencing, you proceed with an alternative Viespace option offered to you and move into the room.

We do not charge ANY fees to reference you and there are no hidden fees or charges to move into our rooms.
What happens next…
We will complete our tenant reference checks via the NLA.
The NLA will email you directly with instructions on how to fill out the tenant check and they will request information from you in order to complete their checks.
If there is anything you do not understand or need assistance with regarding this reference check, you can contact the NLA directly on 01227 250 048.
Please be aware that you have 1 week to provide all information to the NLA to complete your checks, this process can be done quicker, n some instances within 24hrs, however it is dependent on you the applicant to ensure you are responding promptly to the NLA’s requests. ALWAYS check your junk/spam folder.
If the reference check is being delayed and not completed within the time frame of 1 week, the room will automatically be relisted as available and your holding fee may be lost.
On the day that you have passed referencing you will be contacted by us to arrange a move in date. After 7 days has lapsed your holding fee will then be used as your first weeks rent.
If you are unable to move in within the 7 day allocated time we will ask you to start paying your rent from day 8 and you may move in at your leisure and at a convenient time whereby contracts can be signed.
If you are unable to do this the room will be placed back on the market and you will lose your holding fee.
It is not possible to hold a room without rent being paid after the 7 day period.

Worried about referencing – what happens if I fail???
The referencing process is quite simple and the NLA are there to guide you through the process should you need them. It really isn’t anything to be concerned about,
However If you fail our referencing process, we will review why you have failed, and on most occasions, we can offer you another option.
Should this happen Viespace will be in touch with alternative options for you.
Changed your mind or your circumstances have changed….
If you decide to abandon the referencing process or decide not to take our room once it has begun, you will loose 100% of your holding deposit.
